Not everything that’s viral is worth your money — or worth me sending it to you. Here’s the quick gut-check I run on every product before it makes the cut.
The Group Chat Test
- Would I actually send it? If I wouldn’t drop it in a real family text, it doesn’t belong here.
- Does it solve something or spark joy? Useful or delightful. Ideally a little of both.
- Is it honest? No miracle claims, no fake urgency. Especially for anything health- or kid-related.
- What’s the verdict? Every find gets one: Send it, Gift it, Watch it, Worth testing, or Skip it.
Why the verdict matters
"Send it" and "Gift it" mean different things. A body mist is a send it — cheap, fun, low-stakes. A bottle washer is a gift it — pricey, but the kind of thing that makes a tired new parent cry happy tears.
And some things are just a Watch it — like Sonny Angel blind boxes. Fun to follow, but I’m not going to tell you it changed my life.
That’s the whole game: honest labels, honest verdicts, and only sharing things I’d actually send.
