What it is: For 2–5 players, ages 8 and up. Typical game time is 30–60 minutes. Players collect matching train cards and claim routes connecting North American cities.
Make it thoughtful: Give it with a handwritten invitation to play after Thanksgiving dinner. It also works for two, so it earns its place after guests go home.
Before you buy: Choose the standalone base game, not the USA 1910 expansion. Allow table space and about an hour for a first play.
Shopping note: Amazon link opens search results. Match the exact edition, size, and contents; check the seller, current price, stock, delivery, and returns. Photos show a manufacturer example; colors and bundles may vary.
Our status: Editorial shortlist based on manufacturer information; not a hands-on test or a confirmed holiday deal.
